These Vendor Payment Terms and Conditions outline the payment procedures and requirements for vendors registering and selling on Shopmovies.co.uk. By registering as a vendor, you agree to these terms.
1. Vendor Payment Setup
- Vendors must provide either a PayPal or Stripe account during the registration process to receive payments directly from buyers.
- Payment account details must be accurate and kept up to date to ensure seamless transactions.
2. Handling Payments for Vendors Without PayPal or Stripe
- Vendors who do not provide a valid PayPal or Stripe account will have payments for their sales processed through Shopmovies Limited.
- For such vendors, the buyer’s payment will be deposited into the Shopmovies Limited account.
3. Payment Release to Vendors
- Shopmovies Limited will hold the funds collected on behalf of the vendor for a 7-day clearance period from the date of purchase.
- After the 7-day period, Shopmovies Limited will transfer the funds to the vendor’s designated bank account, minus any applicable fees (e.g., transaction or platform fees).
4. Payment Fees
- Vendors are responsible for any PayPal or Stripe transaction fees associated with their account.
- For vendors using Shopmovies Limited to process payments, a platform service fee may apply (as outlined on the platform).
5. Compliance and Fraud Prevention
- All vendors must comply with Shopmovies.co.uk’s policies and applicable laws regarding online payments and transactions.
- Suspicious activities or fraudulent transactions will result in the suspension of funds and further investigation.
6. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of payment disputes between buyers and vendors, Shopmovies Limited reserves the right to mediate and make final decisions on fund allocation.
- Funds may be withheld or refunded to buyers if terms of sale or product delivery are not met by the vendor.
7. Vendor Responsibilities
- Vendors must ensure they provide accurate account details to avoid delays in payment.
- Vendors are responsible for issuing refunds to buyers directly in cases of returned or undelivered goods.
8. Termination of Vendor Agreement
- Shopmovies Limited reserves the right to terminate a vendor account for non-compliance with these terms or for fraudulent activities.
- In the event of termination, pending funds may be withheld until disputes or investigations are resolved.
9. Modification of Terms
Shopmovies Limited may update these terms periodically. Vendors will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
